I put this fizzy bath powder in my son’s bath last night and it burned his little bum and legs. Be forewarned, I think it must have been the citric acid. I put aloe on it and it helped, by morning it was fine.

Hello Linda, and thank you for reaching out. We are deeply sorry for the reaction that happened with your son, and want you to know we have escalated this to our Customer Service team and they will be in direct contact with you.
We always try to be as helpful as possible and can’t emphasize enough the importance of dilution and essential oils. This recipe is a 2% dilution of essential oils which is the recommended base line for most healthy adults. 1 to 3 tablespoons dissolved and diluted in a full bath should be well-tolerated for most adults. It’s important to consider that in addition to the ingredients in the bath powder a host of other factors can come into play that have the potential to affect how we react to an bath including: the amount of water in the bath, the temperature of the bath water, the thoroughness of the dissolve, the length of time spent in the bath, the use of any other soaps or bath products like brushes, sponges or clothes, and whether or not the skin was rinsed well after bathing. The application of aloe, lotion or body oils are all excellent and wise things to do after any cleansing body care treatment. We hope this is helpful and will be in touch soon.
We'd love to hear your perspective.
