Deodorant with Bergamot Essential Oil

A clean DIY deodorant recipe made with coconut oil, cornstarch, bentonite clay, baking soda and bergamot essential oil.


42 drops Aura Cacia Bergaptene-Free Bergamot Essential Oil
4-ounce Aura Cacia Amber Wide Mouth Jar with Writable Label
5 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons bentonite clay
1/4 cup baking soda


1. In jar, combine all ingredients and stir until a smooth cream forms.

2. To use, apply cream to underarms.

To increase the cream’s thickness or firmness, refrigerate after mixing. To maximize the effect of the deodorant, make sure your skin is clean and dry before application.Warming the coconut oil in the microwave first will help facilitate mixing.
