My Mom, my Grandmother, my Auntie Ruthie. My Grandmother Gena Reppe was one of the kindest souls that ever existed. She was always playful and exuberant, and welcomed anyone into her home. She was an absolutely amazing culinary artiste! She made caramel rolls and Norwegian lefse that were drool worth. She grew gorgeous flowers like peonies, and as a child it was true wonderland. All of the natural aromas alone shaped my decision to become an aromatherapist. My Mama was also an amazing chef…she was a Home Ec teacher, and we were the thankful recipients of her culinary expertise! She was also a strong woman who went through any adversity with panache. My Auntie Ruthie is one of the funniest and most amazing women I know, she is busy doing and giving from sunup to sundown! She is always helping others, it is from her that I learned to be grateful and always appreciate and help others, and myself. They all have taught me to acknowledge the simple things, every day. I use to think it was corny, but that is what life is all about...a series of simple things like sunsets and rainbows and unicorns! Blink and you will miss them.

Growing up i was fascinated with everything my grandma did. From her advice, sharing stories, cooking with me. I alwsys felt safe and loved. All she taught me i still today remember it all. She was the best… god rest her soul.

Hey there; but the women who inspire me are my mom & my aunt, only to be joined by some fellow women who come to my brain injured center
We'd love to hear your perspective.
