What are your favorite breath practices?

I use a lot of different breath techniques as a yoga teacher in class and in life to deal with the stressful moments. My favorite way to really engage is to close my eyes and slowly draw the air in through my nose – allowing it to move into by head and down the back of my throat – before returning it slowly through my nose. Ujjayi breathing (a yogic breath technique) is done this way. I use it when I am feeling tense, tight or angry. And I especially use it in parenting and have taught my daughters how to do this type of breathing.

I have used this breathing technique for years and taught my children, I’m not sure how I knew about it or that there is a name for it ...☮️♥️ Always
  Thanks for sharing your wisdom

Thanks for the invitation! I don’t have any kids, but I just admit that they’re worth sharing it too

We'd love to hear your perspective.
