I am so scattered, this forced me to focus and just BE. I have a complete mindfulness series that I haven’t started yet but I’m excited to get to that place

This is really difficult for me today.  Yesterday I lost a cousin to a long battle with ALS. We lost one of her sisters last Feb to multiple myeloma.  This is on my Mom’s side of the family where I only have two cousins left now.  The 24 cousins on Dad’s side are no comparison to the type of relationship we have had over the years.  RIP Tina now that your long suffering has ended.

I am learning to be aware of my surroundings physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. To take the time to be really mindful of moments throughout the day. And to do that I will just remind myself..I am where I am -and be Thankful.

The string is a useful reminder, even after years of yoga and meditation practice.  As I move forward from divorce and find ways to get out of poverty, I find it reassuring to remind myself that this is a temporary state, that money is energy and how can I attract it more often.

I’ve tried to be more mindful and present with eating especially. Instead of mindlessly eating while watching tv or looking at my phone, I make sure that mealtime is it’s own thing and that I pay attention to the nourishing food I eat.

I loved this task! I used a bracelet a friend gave me that has special beads for drops of essential oil!  I had to do quite a few mundane tasks today and instead of doing them on autopilot, I actually paid attention to what I was doing. Repeating the mantra made me aware that no matter what I’m doing, this is my life, right here, right now, this very second.

The “I am where I am” mantra is a great reminder to live in the present and check-in with myself to make sure I am being the person that I want to be. This task helps me to focus and be more kind a patient with myself and also to take on positive mindsets to my life.

Today was full of mindfulness as I had to consider others and the pressure they where under as my needs (that where organized and scheduled) where not meet. I carry my Grapefruit oil with me today and took some deep inhales as the day went on. In closing out the day, I was thankful that I could put aside my stress and understand where others were coming from.

Sandalwood I actually diffuse every morning! Funny that this mentioned it! I also use it in a diffuser bracelet. The mantra above is beautiful and have written it down in my meditation journal.

Taking the time in the morning to slow life’s busy day really helps and I feel the mantra is one that helps remind me to not constantly worry about everything that I can’t control.

Today, I really tried to be mindfulness - in the moment…this is a challenge for me because I’m always thinking ahead or in a hurry…slowing down and enjoying that very moment made me smile….hugging my daughter (she’s 12), talking with my other daughter, talking for over 2 hours with an old friend, and just focusing on the day….I NEED TO SLOW DOWN and do this more….will definitely be one of my goals…..I AM WHERE I AM!!!!

When I’m not at work, I wear my sandalwood mala on my wrist, I also have one I can wear to work made out of mountain laure;. they both smell wonderful and remind me come back to the present when I drift off towards the past or future. I try to remember what the Dalai Lama said “there are only 2 days of the year you can’t do anything: yesterday, and tomorrow”

This is very powerful. The sentence about not being guaranteed anything except for this moment really hit me hard. I’ve lost several family members since May and it’s so true that when we least expect it, it’s too late to go back and say those things or do those things we need to do. If we don’t do them now, we may never get that chance. I am trying much harder to stay present where I am. Thank you for this reminder.

Nice idea about the string!  I’m wearing a Peace bracelet to remind me and the mantra is soothing!

This one has taken me a couple of days because I wanted to go out and buy some oils and actually focus on it.  I learned Herbert Benson’s Relaxation Response in school which I have loved and has helped me overcome what use to be crippling anxiety.  So I bought the oils and have been doing the relaxation response.  Also just generally trying to shut screens off and be focused on one thing ata time instead of multitasking… turning everything off/putting everything away before sitting down for a meal.  It’s nice that I can gain so much rest during my day without having to choose bits of my schedule to sacrifice for it. I feel both more relaxed and more productive.  Good stuff Aura Cacia… thanks.

Looking forward to doing this today! I’m a stay-at-home-mom and often let my mind run crazy thinking about future events/past events/ wasting time on social media/and a million other things! Today, I’m putting my phone down, putting a bright pink string on my wrist and staying in the now! Another great task!

Usually my brain is working in the background on all the things that need to be done tomorrow, the next day, next week, next month…. today I am stopping all those thoughts and focusing on what’s in front of me right now. Taking time to savor and enjoy all the things that I’m usually not paying attention to because my mind is busy elsewhere. The taste of my hazelnut coffee, the way the dew glistens in the grass, the feel of the cat on my lap. This is a good practice in focus!

This task was very helpful! I actually bought some Cedarwood essential oil last week so I had it on hand already. I usually start my day with 10 min of meditation, and today it was great to have a reminder throughout the day to re-focus.

As I’m ending my vacation, I can feel my “back to work” mindset kicking in.  I vow today to remain present, enjoying my last day to rest and reflect.  I will be fully aware of my husband and son and our great God who leads us through these moments.

this is kinda helpful cause it takes away the anxiety of not being exactly in the living conditions i would love to be in but I am happy where I am although I am also working on manifesting where I would love, I use this mantra to manifest easily cause it keeps me in the comfortable vibration.

I already do a Reiki meditation every morning upon awakening - I do have some Aura Cacia Meditation EO on hand - I will try diffusing that in the am along with my meditation…i don’ t think I Am Where I Am is a problem for me I have pretty much let go of the past and I don’t worry too much about the future….what will be, will be…

I already have a meditation practice and I use a blend for peace and harmony that I really love, but I used the mantra throughout my day on a busy day at work and it helped me stay focused on small things ... having a job that helps me take care of my daughter, enjoying laughter with my co-workers, sunshine through the windows on a beautiful day ... instead of worrying about all I had to do at work and at home.

“I am where I am.”  I took a class on Restoring Balance which helped me a lot to learn mindfulness.  Life happens and I moved away from mindfulness for awhile, but am back at it now.  Mindfulness is especially important to me where food and nutrition are concerned.  Thankfully, my community has several stores/markets that offer organic foods and products for personal care, as well. Using essential oils help to keep me on track, also - especially Sandalwood in the day and Lavender at night.

I’ve used vetiver in place of meds for ADD. Has anyone else used oils for ADD or ADHD? I would like to try the blue cypress too. Seems oils for mindfulness would be good for ADD

I have a wrist mala made locally that serves as my reminder to “live in the now” rather than worry about the past or future. It has been an absolute challenge to do so but little by little it is getting easier!

The times that I were truly present in a day I found are where the most good was attracted to me. Sometimes it’s hard to stay present all of the time when there is something to do or stress about but I try to pay attention to one thing at a time. I find doing that helps me get things done more efficiently and at ease.

On a high anxiety morning, I decided to sit with my all time favorite essential oil - neroli.  I began my five minutes with the aroma and ended it with the aroma.  All it took was five minutes to pull me out of that state and into a place of calm and peace.  Five. Minutes.  Wonderful!

Practising the truth for one’s well-being is so important. I am taking Tai Chi and a very element is to mindful it has helped me reduced stress and anxiety for me. Along with essential oils to absorb. as I inhale
