Another new experience on my 21 day journey!!  I am going to make a commitment to take time each day to stop, slow down and breathe. My goal is for this to become a normal natural daily routine for me.

I really enjoy meditation, but realize I don’t do it nearly enough. Mariah’s video inspired me to practice daily, even if it’s only for one minute.

Mmmmm this is a challenge for me! My mind is busy as my mother says! Will continue to work at this!!!

I’m a seasoned meditator and practice yoga regularly. Quieting the monkey mind is not as easy as it looks, nor as hard.  Once the body is quiet, the mind will follow. Meditation is my way of keeping calm and sane in this crazy world.

Two minutes was reasonable, I try to practice daily and usually last 5 minutes. I figure if I do 5 minutes 3- 5 times a day then I will build my patience.

Sometimes meditating seems hard, when my mind acts like an unruly child, but sometimes it is so what I need to get back in touch with me, the real me, not the busy me.

This was very hard for me. I choose prayer over meditation.

Meditating is a great way to reset and find clarity. This task is helpful as I wrote the things that I was thinking down. Being cognizant of what’s on my mind helps me to let go of some unnecessary thoughts.

I allowed myself to just be with whatever came up without getting frustrated or annoyed.

I meditate almost daily either first thing in the morning or before bed to connect me with my higher self. I always feel at ease, and so much more connected to myself after meditation. I use aura cacia enlightening crown oil to bring myself into a deeper state of meditation during kundalini yoga also.

Learning how to meditate has changed my life in so many ways.  It improves my connection to my higher power, gives me clarity of my own thoughts and helps me to better understand what others have to teach me

I should meditate more than I have.  It took a bit to slow my thoughts and relax into my breathing, heart beat and posture prior to the thoughts that seemed priority in my mind.

I have just begun a meditation practice and have practiced more regularly.  It has really helped me in many ways… I am more relaxed, grounded and feel like my true self.  Mediatation provides incredible clarity.

I put Texas Cedarwood and Sweet Orange essential oils on my temples with grapeseed oil and did the Herbert Benson Relaxation Response for 10 minutes.  I used to do this regularly and it came much more naturally to me.  It’s been a while since I did it and it was hard to relax myself.  Will ahve to re-incorporate this into my routine.  Don’t realized how stressed I am until I try to relax!  Thanks.

I try to meditate at least 10 min.  I have an app called Calm and can set the timer during my work break.  It’s much needed to decompress.

I actually teach meditation so my gain today will be to go to a meditation class and be guided by someone new. Not alone at home or in my own class. Takes me outta the box!  TY

I have 2 hrs worth of driving time from home to work and back…all back roads in my car that I feel knows me better than I know it.
I’ve fallen away from taking it as my time.. but I’m starting again today.  It’s my meditation time after a long day of clients

July 25, 2017 - 7:39pm

So easy for my mind to wander. I try to do a moving meditation through my yoga practice.

I’ve recently restarted and recommitted to my meditation practice and the results have been immediate.  More focus, more peace, more desire to take care of myself.  Why do I stop?

I only meditate if I’m really stressed and in reality all I do is go outside breath count to ten and come back agian. I can’t focus well enough to do full on.

Meditation is my favorite way to start the day.  I don’t, however, focus on myself.  I focus on God, picturing myself in His physical Presence and listening well to the things He wants me to hear.

This meditation task was really helpful. I usually meditate daily but it was nice to spend some time observing the meditation and reflecting on it afterward.

I am trying to “become better” at meditation.  My mind wanders.  But every time I do it, I get a bit better.  Which makes me feel better about myself!

July 9, 2017 - 9:16am

I meditate as soon as I wake up in the morning - I find I am much calmer for whatever my work day throws at me - I also go to the gym and do what I refer to as my spinning meditation - just spin and let my mind take me to my happy place..it just seems to relax me…(probably should mention hardly anyone is in the spinning room with me - 99% of the time I have the room all to myself)

I have tried to meditate many times, but am always distracted by outside noises and often my own thoughts.  I’m a prime example of an ‘over thinker’.  I’ll keep trying and hope for negative thoughts to disappear and positive thoughts and feelings bring me to a peaceful place.

My aunt passed away during the night. My morning yoga, one of my meditation times, was filled with flashes of memories of growing up. Sad but it actually grounded me. I was afraid I fall over in tree pose, but I was sturdier than ever.

Meditation is a wonderful practice that I haven’t grasped yet. I want to use it to still my thoughts but I’d never thought of using it for self-exploration.

This was actually kind of difficult for me. Never realized how easily distracted I am. The sounds of my fishtank, husband snoring in bedroom. I am defi6trying this again later!

My absolute favorite thing to do. Once you learn to quiet your mind the answers come in silence. I don’t limit myself to meditating certain ways or times of the day. I’ve meditated while driving to work or at night with the candles on and laying down. There’s no limits to balancing your mind.

Feeling gratitude for the changes happening in my life although they’re scary. I’m trying not to control what I can’t control. This meditation helped me put that in prospective.

Im frustrated i cant fix it! Im frustrated that i was trying to heal so that i could send him love to help him break through this part of his journey and its hard when he keeps coming back hurting me. I see him. I know hes love. I know i am too. I need to learn better how to let go.

Kt

June 19, 2017 - 9:19am

Im angry. Im angry hes still coming back in my life trying to abuse me. Im angry at myself that ive been so focused on helping him get through doing that that ive spent so much time trying to figure out how to handle the abuse manipulation and goading better instead of giving into the fight. I shouldnt have to figure out how to handle it better because it shouldnt even be a scenerio. Im tired of fighting to matter.

KT, you absolutely do NOT have to put up with any abuse or manipulation. If you are experiencing any form of abuse or domestic violence, you need to seek help. Here is a link to the National Domestic Violence hotline where you can talk confidentially with an advocate. http://www.thehotline.org/ I’m sending you all my love, strength and support.
