What essential oils do you scent your home with?

I love to set the mood – almost daily – in our home.  While I love all essential oils for different reasons, I know that not all of them create the right atmosphere at home.  I use a lot of citrus oils for their happy effect, and love to combine them with grounding oils like patchouli, clove bud and vetiver.  On the other hand, I combine peppermint and rosemary when I want to kick up the energy and focus when we need it most.  At night, I love to use relaxing florals like chamomile and lavender to soothe away the day's frustrations.  I basically let my mood, and the mood of my family, guide what I diffuse in my home.  Whatever the mood is, we are all left feeling a bit better with the right aromas isurrounding us.

my favorite happens to be patchouli with some cederwood and sandlewood. I enjoy the earthy scents but at night I enjoy lavender with some bergamot oil. I also enjoy some of the citrus scents as well during the day to wake me up.

It depends on how I’m feeling. I normally I diffuse lavender in the evening. I’ve been using cinnamon when I am doing yoga to help with circulation. yea tree oil and eucalyptus during the cold season to help with breathing and congestion.
